Beautiful tents for outdoor events

Having enjoyed many wonderful days and nights under canvas, we decided to design and build a tent of our own that would withstand the Northern European climate. With extra flaps to protect against the rain, and removable walls, our tent is extremely versatile and a very beautiful centrepiece at any outdoor event, rain or shine.

Our People

In 2012 we formed a worker’s co-op as an affordable way to design and build our own Berber tent, to offer for hire. Our family of beautiful tents is growing, with plans being drawn up for a smaller North African Berber style tent. We also call on a small extended family of unique tents that belong to our tent loving friends. As a group we come from a variety of professional backgrounds, with years of experience of event and performance management. We also love to put on parties.

Why a co-op?

We decided to form a workers’ co-op because we want to be in charge of how we work and how our work impacts on others and our environment. Workers’ co-ops are democratic, member-owned organisations set up to benefit the members and the wider community.
There are currently eight members in the Berber Tent Co-op. We are our own bosses and we make decisions collectively, and because each member has a personal stake in the success of our enterprise you can be sure of our desire to deliver an excellent and unique experience.
